The reason that teams are concerned or excited about a prospect is because there has usually been some ground work and evidence to suggest one of those outcomes. That evidence is looking at former and current players' successes and failures and comparing them to this year's crop of franchise changers or busts.
So, by taking a look at which of this year's top cornerbacks remind of current NFL players, we can possibly get a good indication and projection of their potential of NFL success.

Three hundred-plus days of scouting have lead to this.
After spending the past year analyzing each prospect, it’s time that I put out in the open the players that I feel are the true “sleepers” and less-respected players in this draft class, along with the guys that will be the next crop of “busts”.
Breaking down the prospects is a long process yet doesn’t yield much respect. Sticking your neck out on guys who you really like gains that respect, so I ask that you remember this list as these prospects move forward in their career.

With most of the draft buzz consistently hovering Tim Tebow, it's obvious that he's probably the most intriguing prospect in the last 5 years from a transitional perspective.
However, outside of him, there are many players who are boom or bust, have major question marks, or who teams have just fallen in love with.
We'll take a look at these ten very intriguing prospects to determine why they are so intriguing and where they might end up on draft day and in their careers.

The reason fans love the draft so much is that it’s very comparable to the NFL season and appeal.
Some teams are in better position than others to succeed, some teams just get it while others don’t, there are a million reasons why things work and don’t work out every year, and things can change from a month to month, year to year basis.
These NFL teams pour more research into evaluating prospects than the average fan could ever imagine. Most scouts that I’ve talked to have seen entire seasons of game film on the teams/players they cover, more than any fan or even non-NFL draft scout like myself can say.
Still, fans question why a team takes a player and constantly criticize a team’s draft philosophy and selections. Well, let’s breakdown how these teams differ in styles and the pros and cons to each style of drafting. Obviously most teams use a hybrid of these strategies, but some, as we’ll mention, tend to stick with one of these techniques.
