Once viewed as an athletic and mobile left tackle with Top 10 potential from Rutgers, Anthony Davis has started to see his stock slip down boards in recent weeks.
Part of it has to do with the Combine, part of it his most recent pro day, and part of it his entire set of game film that honestly, I wasn’t overly impressed with.

Every year, teams and fans are looking for the next sleeper prospect. Well, outside of our Sleeper section of our website, we have our Top 30, non-FBS (D-1A) 2010 NFL Draft prospects. These round projections are a little loose and are more of where we think they SHOULD go, not where they will.

With fans from every team craving to get Tim Tebow in their team’s colors pleading like teenage girls beg for Miley Cyrus tickets, I’ll try to not only handicap the Tebow sweepstakes, I’ll attempt to predicit where he’ll end up.
We’ll grade each team on a scale from one to five, listed below, on his chances of landing there: 1-Not a chance 2-Very unlikely 3-Possible if other needs are filled or have poor value 4-Will try and take him 5-They’ll fight and trade to get him
While I’m not sold on Tebow as a future NFL starter, we’ll take a look at where he might fit best long term with a team as both a quarterback and a locker room presence.

Now that the Combine is over, we’ll go more in-depth than just the numbers and the 40 times and the bench press that probably by now, you’ve been bashed over the head with.
Let’s take a look at exactly what scouts have gathered from this combine as it translates to actual NFL team boards and scouting reports.

In what may viewed as the final day of the Thanksgiving of the draft season (with Christmas being Draft Day), scouts got a chance to check out maybe the deepest position of the draft: the defensive backs.
Guys like Taylor Mays and Eric Berry were sure to treat the scouts with some amazing athletic displays, and they didn't disapoint one pit, especially Berry.
We'll take a look at which guys really helped themselves today and which of the few players (I don't know if any guys hurt themselves all that much) that may have slipped a little on the boards.

The final group for testing, the drills these defensive backs run are a lot like the receivers do, and scouts can expect the same results.
Some corners have outstanding speed and quickness, but need to show up in the coverage part of the day. Some need to show they have the speed to keep up with each and every receiver at the pro level.
And scouts should be in for a treat when the safeties begin to workout, as they’ll get to see some of the most intriguing set of safeties a draft class has ever seen, from a baseball pitcher to an athletic freak to a Rhodes Scholar.

After the first “work week” day of the Combine is complete, it’s likely that many of the fan base that watched over the weekend missed maybe the deepest position in the draft, along the defensive line.
We had a defensive tackle throw his name in the ring a top 5 contender based on his combination of film and athletic display, and we had a defensive tackle who may have left the top five with a “largely” ineffective day at the Combine.
Along with the defensive line, we had a few linebackers who displayed running back athletic ability and the diversity to play in many schemes and at different positions.
So, let’s breakdown the defensive tackles and outside linebackers that tested today at the Combine.

With the offense done now with the Combine, it’s time to take a look at the defensive side of the ball, and today especially at the front seven.
This day is most notably for seeing which defensive ends can make the transition because of their athleticism to play a 3-4 outside linebacker in the pros.
Also, today we can find out which linebackers can drop back in coverage and be complete linebackers and not just 1st and 2nd down guys, which could be the difference between 1st round money and 3rd round money.
Keep an eye on the cone and shuttle drills, as these are the best indicators for quickness for a defensive lineman.

Every year, guys surprise that many fans didn't know coming in but can boast that they've heard of a guy who could be a future NFL Pro Bowler.
But, when a guy with "star power" outperforms the hype already attached to him, it's exciting to watch.
Tim Tebow, already a fan favorite as people everywhere are trying to convince their teams to take him, may not have thrown at the Combine, but as far as everything else went with his Combine performance, he looked the part of an NFL athlete and may a quarterback.

What I like to call the “sexiest” day of the draft, this is the day when the big time quarterbacks show their stuff. Oh, wait, there are no big time quarterbacks?
Well, either way, it should be intriguing to see which of the remaining quarterbacks (with the…courage…to throw) will bring the most success.
Also, we’ll get a chance to see if the running backs with hype can aid in their battle for the 1st round some more, and if some fringe 1st round receivers can do enough to solidify their stock.
