While it may be a bit premature, we are taking a look at the 2011 draft prospects. Keep in mind that this list could easily flucuate throughout the season. *'s indicate players who will be juniors for the 2011 draft.

1. Jake Locker, QB, Washington -The presumed 2010 top quarterback prospect and possible 1st overall pick, Locker decided to stick with Steve Sarkesian another year. While his draft stock might not have been higher, his ability as a quarterback can get higher with another year in college.
2. Julio Jones, WR, Alabama* -I felt he could have been a 1st round pick if he came out as a freshman, so this physical beast should be a lock for the Top 5 when he comes out. His quarterback play and constatn double teams didn't help his stock, but he still is a weapon of a receiver.
3. Marvin Austin, DT, North Carolina -A fringe 1st round talent for the 2010 draft, Austin is a guy who could always use more coaching. If he can take to that coaching and maximize his athletic ability, he could be just as exciting a prospect as Gerald McCoy.
4. Ryan Mallett, QB, Arkansas* -No questions about his size, Mallet is a premire pocket passer. He has Flacco-like arm strength, throws a great ball, and is extremely accurate. Depending on the team, don't be surprised if Mallet goes ahead of Locker in the 2011 draft.
5. Greg Romeus, DE, Pittsburgh -The best defensive end to not declare for the draft, Romeus is a complete 4-3 defensive end. He can rush the pass with diverse moves as well as play contain against the run. I see Gaines Adams, former 4th overall pick.
6. Patrick Peterson, CB, LSU* -A super prospect out of high school, Peterson's athletic ability and potential have blossomed at LSU, developing into as close as you can get a shutdown cornerback in the college game.
7. Anthony Costanzo, OT, Boston College -Viewed as a better prospect than possible 1st rounders Bruce Campbell, Trent Williams, and Anthony Davis, we think Costanzo could explode this year as the best tackle prospect returning to college.
8. Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame* -A dominating in air receiver, Floyd so far has gotten by with potential. However, his large frame and soft hands will mean his the top target for any new Notre Dame quarterback, and new coach Brian Kelly's top weapon.
9. Travis Lewis, OLB, Oklahoma* -Could have been a fringe 1st rounder if he declared for the 2010 draft, Lewis has the size, speed, and field vision to be a successful linebacker pro. Another year with Stoops, he'll be a lock for round one.
10. DeAndre McDaniel, S, Clemson -Surprised he didn't declare for the 2010 draft, McDaniel made a wise move bypassing the draft and coming back as the consensus top returning safety. The Clemson offense is still young, so he can play with the young talent and still be a star.
11. Cameron Heyward, DE, Ohio State 12. Adrian Taylor, DT, Oklahoma 13. AJ Green, WR, Georgia* 14. Kendric Burney, CB, North Carolina 15. Jack Crawford, DE, Penn State* 16. Evan Royster, RB, Penn State 17. Janoris Jenkins, CB, Florida* 18. Greg Jones, ILB, Michigan State 19. Gabe Carimi, OT, Wisconsin 20. Rodney Hudson, OG, Florida State 21. Quan Sturdivant, ILB, North Carolina 22. Jared Crick, DT, Nebraska* 23. Mark Ingram, RB, Alabama* 24. Akeem Ayers, OLB, UCLA* 25. Deunta Williams, S, North Carolina 26. Kris O'Dowd, C, USC 27. Matt Reynolds, OT, BYU* 28. Terrence Toliver, WR, LSU 29. Mark Herzlich, OLB, Boston College 30. Jaquizz Rodgers, RB, Oregon State 31. Julian Miller, DE/OLB, West Virginia* 32. Blake Gideon, S, Texas*
